Most recently a Senior Manager in BDO's Corporate Finance team in Perth, and before that in BDO South Africa, I have spent close to a decade running M&A mandates end to end: financial models and forecasts, Information Memoranda and teasers, databooks and data rooms, valuations, and due diligence.
The work spans the full range of the market. On the large-cap end, I have sat on the independent expert team for JSE-listed transactions worth up to US$2.3 billion, and built life-of-mine valuations for mining assets worth hundreds of millions. On the mid-market end, I have led and delivered the sell-side and buy-side processes that are a boutique adviser's daily work, from roughly A$1.5m to A$6m EBITDA, across drilling, mine services, professional services, health and more.
My sector depth is in mining and resources: coal, gold, PGM, chrome and iron ore, across Australia, Southern Africa and cross-border. A Chartered Accountant with around twenty years in the profession, I pair that senior execution standard with one simple promise: I stay behind the scenes, so you keep the client and the credit.
